REVIEWS: AimHigher team enjoy Certificated Coaching Courses

A small team of  AimHigher trainers attended the Goal Mapping and 6S Study Skills coaching courses, which were held at the University Of East Anglia Sportspark, Norwich. We asked them to rate their sessions using a 5 star rating system - with 5 stars being 'excellent'. Here is their 4 and 5 star feedback:

GOAL MAPPING

***** 5 Stars

• Although there is a lot of information to take in, in a short time – it was very clearly explained, with many tips on how to personalise the workshops.
• We spend a lot of time understanding the aims of each module which help when we deliver them in schools. By trying out some of the exercises, we were able to develop out confidence in the delivery process required. Sander was very good at understanding and helping us overcome potential problems unique to the students we work with. This reinforced my confidence in my own ability to deliver the programme.

• Goal Mapping will become an essential tool for me to use with my students. It is very inspirational and I believe it will definitely assist students to reach their full potential!
• A very effective way to communicate with young people and help them realise their potential and that things are achievable if they put their minds to it.

6S STUDY SKILLS

• Very good. A lot of information to take in, but done at a good pace. I am looking forward to using the resources.
• Lots of information to absorb in a short time but good support materials. Promise of continued support is valuable.
• Very easy to understand and I am looking forward to using the techniques with our students. Extremely useful seeing the system run in a school before having the training as everything was then easy to follow.
