FEEDBACK: Dave delights audiences with his delivery of 6S Study Skills 01 Jun 10

It is never easy delivering a course for the first time – especially when the course consists of 5 consecutive workshops, on the same day, with the same set of students. This was the challenged recently faced by one of our talented licensees, Dave Hunt, in Poole.

  Dave, a former Science teacher, was asked to deliver the 6S Study Skills Course to a group of Year 11 Students at Corfe Hills High School. After preparing as thoroughly as he could, Dave admitted to being nervous about tackling such a long course all in one day.

  However, he overcame his nerves to deliver a powerful learning experience for the students who were present. The Deputy Head of the school, who observed the sessions, reported that the course made students think more deeply about exam preparation and gave them lots of revision ideas.

  In fact, on the feedback form, Dave was awarded 4’s and 5’s for his performance and his ability to manage the behaviour of the students. The school was equally impressed with Dave’s delivery style, his enthusiasm and his ability to engage the students.
