REVIEWS: MLP Days in Oxford are a hit with licensees

In last month’s newsletter we told you about our streamlining our licensee offers for business entrepreneurs. Accordingly, our first Master Licensed Partner Training Event was held at the Holiday Inn over two days earlier this month.

The event was attended by 17 new licensees who experienced two Certificated Coaching Course sessions and a day’s Partnership Development training in setting up a partnership with Positively MAD.

The Goal Mapping Certificated Coaching Course was run by Sander De Groot who ably and skilfully took them through the process of goal mapping and its application to schools. The second session was run by Alan David Pritchard, who provided training in the 6S Study Skills System. This was an intense and exhilarating day for the delegates, who commented afterwards that it sped by because the trainers provided humour breaks and break state activities to keep the pace lively.

• I have viewed the DVD several times and run it through with a small group of students once in a school setting. The Certificated Coaching Courses were followed by a full day business training session during which the delegates were treated to input by Managing Director Alan Winter, Lead Licensee Natalie Donahue and Head of Product Development Alan David Pritchard. The purpose of the day was to allow delegates to workshop various aspects of running a Positively MAD licence, including areas such as “setting up office” to “pitching your products and services.”

Again, the feedback that we received for this course was wonderful, with delegates appreciating the gentle pace of the day, the opportunity to share with each other, and the chance to talk to the creators of the licensing business.
