NEWS: NEWS: Positively MAD's influence felt in rural India

Last year, Positively MAD had the privilege to train the lead teacher of a major charity in India, Mr Stewart Botting. Stewart runs educational classes for teachers and students in underprivileged areas of India, with the aim of helping disenfranchised students get out of their spiral of poverty and deprivation. He recently wrote to us to tell us about the impact that Mindmapping is having on his students.

Stewart works for the Right Now Foundation, and since his training with us, has sent us letters and pictures of the work he does and the way he is implementing the ideas he learned on his Positively MAD training day.

One of the ideas which is really making a massive impact on students and learning is MIND MAPPING. Stewart recently wrote to us to tell us how he is getting on teaching students how to mindmap in Nellore. He ran a session for 180 students (see pic below) and describes Mindmapping as a ‘learning miracle’.

Furthermore, Stewart added that the Positively MAD is “ still inspiring people.  Your impact reaches the very interior of rural Andhra Pradesh - ripples from afar...”

Positively MAD is extremely proud of Stewart’s efforts and very grateful that he is keeping us updated about his activities.

We wish him continued success and hope his charity continues to make a positive difference to the lives and learning potential of students across India.
