Over the weekend of 30, 31 May, Positively MAD hosted three Opportunity Meetings for potential licensees who treated to a series of presentations regarding the various opportunities open to them should they wish to join Positively MAD.

These ‘Opportunity Meetings’ were held at the Pear Tree Holiday Inn in Oxford and were attended by over 60 interested entrepreneurs, including life-coaches, teachers and avid presenters. They were treated to presentations by both company directors, Mark Stafford and Alan Winter, who outlined the innovations and new directions that Positively MAD are piloting, creating and bringing into being, with overviews of what we do and how we are successful doing it.

The day began with a brief video that encapsulates the company’s mission and ethos. Then Alan Winter provided a warm welcome and a brief history and background to the company. This was followed by presentations by Head of Training, Sander De Groot, and Head of Product Development, Alan David Pritchard. Both speakers passionately conveyed the essence of the Goal Mapping Coaching Course and the 6S Study Skills System, using break state activities, interactive tasks and humorous anecdotes. The session was then enthusiastically completed by Mark Stafford, who provided more in-depth detail regarding the opportunities with, and future of, the company and its products.

“We want to share with them the richness of opportunity and scope for involvement in an environment which is informal and relaxed,” reported Mark Stafford. “These types of meetings allow people to meet the owners of the company and get answers to questions before deciding on whether to join us.”

The success of these meetings is determined by how many people stay on afterwards to further enquire about joining the company, and who, obviously, end up becoming Positively MAD Partners.

In this regard, the sessions held at the Holiday Inn were extremely successful, as many delegates expressed excitement and enthusiasm for our offerings, staying back long after the sessions were over to further discuss ways they too can make a positive impact on learners’ potential.
