This month saw the launch of the Positively MAD “How to Coach Kids” Licensee Presentation, held at the Ibis Hotel in Earl’s Court, London on Saturday 25 April. The purpose of the presentation was to provide potential licensees with information about the company, its ethos, aims, products and services so that they can be better informed when deciding whether or not to join our expanding network.
Positively MAD began its licensing network just over a year ago and has attracted top-class, vibrant and enthusiastic people, eager to become Posmad Licensees, able to create incomes through the promotion and presentation of our products and services. Up until recently, we have relied on traditional press and web-based means of recruitment to inform potential partners about our licensing opportunities. However, we have spent the last year creating and refining an opportunity to showcase our offer via a multi-sensory presentation, which we feel is a more effective means of expanding our network of licensed partners.
An event like this allows for 1-2-1 interaction and a more hands-on approach to pitching our offer as it allows potential licensees to talk directly to not only the directors of the company, but also to the creators of the coaching programmes, successful licensed partners, and head office personnel. The event will be held at venues around the country following the launch at the Ibis Hotel in London last weekend.
The pilot launch began with a warm introduction from Managing Director, Alan Winter, who provided a brief history of the company and placed the licensing offer in context. He then invited the creators of the coaching programmes to provide a brief presentation about two of the coaching programmes on offer. One of our most successful licensed partners, Natalie Donahue, had a cameo performance teaching the group how to engage in ‘penguin racing’ and providing them with useful information about her successes as a Positively MAD Partner.
Commercial Director Mark Stafford then took to the stage and provided an informative and in-depth look at the various licensing offers, the potential for revenue generation, the aims of the partnership venture and the future prospects for potential licensees.
Delegates then had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in one-to-one ‘clinics’ with the Positively MAD personnel to discuss further issues and to gain clarification on logistics and considerations.
“This sort of event,” said Director Mark Stafford “is an ideal opportunity for us to interact meaningfully with potential partners in a way that allows us to showcase our offer while providing immediate answers to all queries and concerns.”
The Ibis event is the first of many to come and was, for a first attempt at such a presentation, a huge success.
“It went better than expected,” reflected Managing Director Alan Winter, “and although there are areas for improvement, it was really encouraging to engage with people who are genuinely interested in helping us change the way the world learns.”
