SPOTLIGHT: Making Learning even more fun for primary pupils

Making learning FUN

Positively MAD aims to show students how much fun learning can be by getting them to experience, first hand, the effectiveness of a range of dynamic and imaginative learning methods.  We enjoy watching them realise that they are more capable than they give themselves credit for.

The delight they feel when they experience our techniques is wonderful to observe, and the energy after one of our events is dynamic and infectious. Students go away from our presentations enthused about learning and eager to apply the methods in the classroom.

It’s about boosting confidence, about changing limiting belief-systems, about motivating students to see learning as a joyous experience.

That is why we love our name: we are passionate about making a positive difference to the learning potential of students all over the country.

Teachers who either observe or participate in our events are amazed at the simplicity of the techniques shown and the effectiveness for the students. They, too, delight in seeing students becoming energised and excited by learning.

Creative Approaches to Learning

Which is why we think you may enjoy discovering more about our newly-released CREATIVE APPROACHES TO LEARNING PRIMARY course, available to pupils and teachers of Key Stage 2.

It’s a tremendous opportunity for schools like yours to experience a day of positive energy and creative madness.

The course provides schools with:

1)      A multi-media, multisensory presentation to Years 5+6 in the morning

2)      A dynamic, interactive, engaging presentation to Years 3+4 in the afternoon

3)      An optional teacher twilight presentation to explain the techniques used during the day

4)      Resource material for teachers, pupils and parents to consolidate and extend the learning

Schools which have experienced our Creative Approaches to Learning have all written to us attesting the value of such a package.  Read what Peter Griffin, Head of Park Hall Junior had to say:

I just want to say how great our ‘Positively Mad’ day was.

To see your ‘trainer’: -

  •  engage 200 children for 3 hours and keep them interested and learning;
  • show our children how they can all use memory techniques to embed facts and information efficiently, effectively and in a fun way;
  • show our children how they learn;
  •  show our children how to mind map.

 was in itself great value for money.

However, the greatest value has been in the after effect.  Staff and children are actively and purposefully applying ‘accelerated learning’ in the classroom.  Some children are even looking for opportunities to apply the techniques.

I don’t know about ‘Positively Mad’ it was ‘Positively Good’ and the impact will go on well beyond just one day of fun.
