This course uses memory improvement techniques to show teachers ways in which they can help students prepare for the Extended Writing section of the GCSE examinations. It covers areas like basic grammar and sentence construction; how to use a range of required, suitable paragraph structures; how to plan essays so that introductions and conclusions are not synonymous; developing personal writing styles; knowing the difference between persuasive and argumentative essays and how to use appropriate language for each. Spotting and naming reasoning errors are also examined.

It is rare that someone makes such an impression in such a short space of time but you certainly did that. I was also glad to see that you could feel what a special school ours is because I felt it immediately too.”
