Overview

Mind Mapping is the powerful thinking tool developed by Tony Buzan. Its use in the classroom as a learning and thinking tool significantly increases comprehension, understanding and learning.

Facilitated by a fully trained and licensed Buzan Instructor, the Positively MAD Introduction to Mind Mapping gives teachers the basic skills of this brain-friendly technique and demonstrates how it can be applied in the classroom.

Aims & Objectives

• To provide an understanding of why Mind Maps work
• To learn how to Mind Map
• To explore the application of Mind Maps in the classroom
• To understand how to facilitate the use of Mind Maps in the classroom

Format

• A combination of audience, group and partnered interactive participation
• Typically 9.00am - 3.00pm including refreshment and lunch breaks
• Staff will require at least 4 coloured pens and some blank A4 paper.
